Arsenal is exploring the option to sign Joao Felix on loan during the January window – according to the latest reports in the media




With the many reports in the media suggesting that Graham Potter is desperate to improve his squad in the January window – there has been alot of speculation about Joao Felix.


The young Portuguese star is regarded very highly in the game but has been unable to hit the heights that many had hoped for during his time at Madrid – which has led to rumours he could leave.


According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal are exploring the idea of signing Felix on loan until the end of the season After the injury to Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus, and Mikel Arteta has been hunting for possible replacements with Felix’s name popping up on his listThe club is prepared to spend £8m for Joao Felix’s 6-month loan spell along with incurring his wages worth £250k-a-week.


However – it seems that Simeone would not like to see the lad leave and has told Felix that he can still be a big part of the Madrid side: “What matters to me is the team and he is important to the team. If he shows us what we saw in the World Cup, he will be very important. He has the conditions and talent and the team needs his qualities,” he told reporter
