According to Spanish media outlet Marca. The Portuguese is currently in Dubai and is “ready to fly” to Saudi Arabia and sign for Al-Nassr. 


The Middle Eastern club have tabled an offer worth a whopping €200 million per season in salary and advertising agreements.

It was claimed Al-Nassr had reached an agreement with Ronaldo, a free agent during the 2022 World Cup.


Ronaldo will commit to a seven-year contract at Al-Nassr, worth £170m-a-year. He will play for Al-Nassr for two-and-a-half years and become official ambassador for Saudi Arabia and their 2030 World Cup bid.

Al-Nassr who are Saudi League Leaders, are hoping that convincing the five-time Ballon d’Or winner to join will help put Saudi Arabia on the footballing map ahead of their ambitious bid to host the 2030 World Cup, alongside Egypt and Greece

The deal which will be confirmed before the end of 2022, will include an increase in his €200m-per-year wages rise periodically after 2024.




However, the 37-year-old, has previously suggested he would like to remain in Europe, and the likes of Napoli and Bayern Munich have been tipped as alternative destinations.




Ronaldo made five appearances at the World Cup, scoring just one goal from the penalty spot in Portugal's opening group stage match against Ghana
